It is that time of year again when we ask for your help in doing our annual voting for the Good Beer Guide. There is a spreadsheet and a PDF version that can be filled in and emailed back to ku.gro.armac.ees@GBG. Alternatively, just send an email with your selections, but please include your name and CAMRA number. You can also bring your completed form to the selection meeting which will be the first Tuesday in February.

Please can you nominate any pubs in our area that you think are worthy of an entry into the Good Beer Guide 2027. A map is shown below with the boundaries of the South East Essex CAMRA branch. These pubs must sell real ale and or cider (as defined by CAMRA) in consistently good order and obviously you must drink in them regularly to know this to be a fact. This is not a vote for the Good Pub Guide – but a vote for our flagship publication the GOOD BEER guide.

We are also seeking nominations for our branch Pub of the Year (POTY) 2026. This is a pub which has made a significant contribution to the cause of Real Ale in the last year. For the last few years, this has been Mile and a Third, Westcliff. Club of the year is currently the Naval & Military Club in Southend.
