STAY SAFE

Monday 17 May – Monday 19 July 2021

DO NOT arrange Branch socials OR meet ups in pubs – we will let you know when advice on this changes.

The National Executive have instructed that all events be cancelled until further notice.
This period of suspension will be extended in a rolling fashion every two weeks until further notice. The rolling two-week suspension window remains in force. All events must be cancelled.

Update: No branch meetings or arranged gatherings such as socials can take place before complete government lifting of restrictions which in England, affecting most branches, we know will not happen any earlier than 21 June. Even when gatherings are allowed there are often restrictions of numbers of people who can attend, and most CAMRA meetings are unrestricted in terms of people who can attend, this applies to some restrictions lifting on 17 May. No events can take place and no financial commitment may be made to any event booking or other CAMRA expense until formally advised. Expenses relating to magazines are not allowed until advised to do so by the Communication and Commercial committee. CAMRA’s current roadmap is following official government guidelines in all areas but we intend to continue with meeting restrictions until unlimited numbers are allowed in groups indoors. Please do not commit to spending or spend any money on any bookings in relation to meetings. We shall be paying close attention to the announcement in the middle of June and if we can allow meetings to start after 21 June then we shall let you know. Thank you for your patience on this matter, we want you all to be safe
