It is with great sadness that we convey to you the loss of Jerry Gibson. Jerry was a Festival volunteer and was a hugely active member of the community, serving both as a District and Parish Councillor and Chair. He was Chair of the governing body of Rochford and Castle Point Adult Community College for 10 years, as well as a Director of Rochford Hundred Golf Club. Jerry was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease (MND) whilst he was serving as both a District and Parish Councillor. Our condolences to his wife Gill and family. Jerry will be missed.
