We’ve had some promising announcements from the new Prime Minister on pubs, including announcing extra help for our locals with business rates bills. But this is not ‘job done’. Consumers, pubs, social clubs, breweries and cider makers need support in the Government’s Budget happening on 28 October.

The pubs and independent brewers that we love deserve action from the Government in the Budget to help them with burdens like VAT, alcohol duty and soaring energy bills. We also want to see long-term changes to make the business rates system fairer for pubs.
